Before I work with any young person we need to be sure that I am the right person to work with your child. I will meet/chat with the parents for a free ‘Discovery Chat’ either face-to-face, by phone or online so I can gain an overview of where the challenges may lie. There is no pressure or obligation for you to book any sessions.
If we decide to go ahead, I will devise a bespoke coaching programme that is tailored to the individual’s needs. Each child is unique and will be treated as such!
The programme is not ‘set in stone’ as progress occurs at different rates and adjustments will be made accordingly. The first couple of sessions will involve getting to know the child and building trust. Through this coaching process, I will work on areas which may include
The ‘Wellbeing Explorers’ workshops are very popular and increasingly in demand. I can run a workshop or visit classes at a school depending on the school’s needs. We will work on various aspects of wellbeing through fun activities including stories, role play and ‘games’. I can be booked for sessions, half-days or full-days.
Please contact me with your needs and any questions you many have. I will devise a bespoke programme to suit your children and the needs of your school
School Workshops
-
How long are the sessions?Usually 45 mins to 1 hours depending on the age and needs of the child
-
What age-range do you coach?I will coach a child from the age of 7 all the way through the teens. The programme material is adapted to the age and the needs of the child. Beliefs and strategies are formed at an early age; there is much to gain from coaching a child from an early age.
-
Where are the sessions held? They can be in person or online via zoom
-
When will I see positive changes? In most cases, there should be changes from the start of our initial sessions. The programme will facilitate a positive mind-set which will help in other areas. As we work through the programme we will work on various areas that will address the issues we initially highlighted
-
What will my child gain? This will depend on what areas we are working on, so results may be of a specific nature or more general. However you should see Reduced anxiety and stress An improvement in self-regulation of emotions A more positive and open mindset A happier child An ability to use various strategies and tools to help in times of need
-
What if I’m not sure about coaching? That’s not a problem. Contact me for a free, no obligation ‘Discovery Chat’. If you decide that coaching isn’t an option then that’s OK.

Are you a counsellor? No, I am a qualified and accredited Wellbeing Life Coach. In the traditional sense, a counsellor helps a person come to terms with a big issue they are facing within their life. Life coaching is a forward moving therapy that aims to empower the individual to create and facilitate a positive change in their lives.
There are no set number or coaching sessions that will be required, but I suggest six to eight and evaluate after that. Coaching is all about empowering the individual so that he/she/they has the skills and strategies necessary to facilitate change; a successful coach will enable this!
A brief synopsis of the session will be e-mailed to the parent within 48 hours
